1. Bounce don’t drag. Apply your foundation using light layers and build up, less is more when wanting your makeup to stay. I recommend using a beauty blender or a synthetic haired brush to apply light layers to create a smooth complexion. This will leave your skin looking natural without feeling heavy or cakey.
2. Prep your skin! What to use is dependant on your skin type for example if you have dry skin then use a good moisturiser we love Embryolisse this is a makeup primer, moisturiser and mask in! It can also be used to remove makeup and cleanse your skin.
3. Use a Setting spray Urban decay all nighter and Charlotte tilbury for a more high end and the NYX setting spray and Morphe spray mist for a more affordable option.
4. Super oily? Opt for an Oil free foundation, Oil based products make it more likely that makeup will slide out of place. If you have dryer skin types, make sure you moisturize very well before using an oil-free foundation. We love the oil free Born this way too faced foundation!
5. Layer your cream or liquid based products with a powder to get maximum staying power, again to avoid the Cakey look don’t over do it.
